Jamie hates Infinity Vision confirmed.
It was revealed that Disney pitched Infinity Vision certification to Paramount, Universal, Lionsgate, and Sony. However, Infinity Vision isn't a new type of format, it just certifies that a movie is being show in a premium format like IMAX and Dolby. It was created because Disney is losing out on IMAX screen time thanks to films like Dune 3, which is hitting theaters the same day as Avengers: Doomsday. Infinity Vision is being pitched as a way to help audiences understand which formats are nicer, but Jamie thinks it's just a way to co-opt an existing format and pass it off as their own.

THANK YOU!!! They’re only doing this because they can’t get IMAX because of Dune3 so in order to charge more, they made up infinity vision
