BOX OFFICE PREDICTION: #Ramayana

Day 1 (Hindi): ₹55–60 Cr Nett

The weekend will depend entirely on audience word of mouth.

The advance booking of Ramayana is underwhelming. Some analysts are making excuses about the pre-Diwali period impacting pre-sales. But let’s be honest, a film of this magnitude, based on the epic Ramayana,mounted on a staggering budget of ₹2,000 crore & powered by A list STAR CAST ,
should have ideally been heading for a bare minimum ₹100 crore nett opening in India under any circumstances.

The initial response is clearly below expectations. However, if the content delivers, the film can recover lost ground and potentially create unprecedented box-office history from Monday onwards, can even rake in ₹ 500 cr+ nett within 7 days .

Other versions potential- The Telugu and Tamil versions won’t contribute much,the Kannada version is the only hope from the South. (expecting 12-15 cr nett day -1 from dubbed versions)

Ps- (The average ticket price is exceptionally high, which could push the collections over ₹60 crore as well.)
