At 16, France’s Manon Clément became the youngest IBF World Cup champion ever. She beat defending champion Natasha Roslan of Malaysia 2-1 in the final (231-190, 147-206, 204-168).

The previous record belonged to England’s Gemma Burden, who won at 17 in São Paulo in 1995.
