As an event host, my opening is one of the most pivotal elements of my preparation. Why? Because it sets the tone for everything that follows.

Beyond introducing myself, my opening is an opportunity to establish the energy, shape the atmosphere, and give the audience a sense of what to expect from me as their host. It’s where the connection begins and the experience takes shape.

And that was exactly what I set out to achieve with this beautiful opening speech at the just-concluded Qubators Global Conference 2026.

Because when you host an event, how you begin matters just as much as how you carry it through.
