Why did I stop playing instruments?
When I started to lose my sight, I was performing on cruise ships, which meant I was singing a repertoire of 800+ songs ... I seem to have the memory to remember the lyrics but remembering chord structures on top of that was a bit too much for me! I stopped playing my instruments live because I couldn't see my fingers on the instrument or the chord charts on the iPad...
In some ways I grew as a performer, singing without my instrument in front of me.
However it did mean that I stopped practising so I stopped playing.... And here we are, 8 years later. And I realised how much I miss playing my instruments!

Stevie Wonder is blind, being blind has never stopped him performing, song writing (both the music and the lyrics) .. he also never had to make any agendas about himself as a blind man or to get public recognition

Apart from the beautiful voice given to you, you’re also a very beautiful person and woman. The whole package. I think anything you put your mind to, you can achieve 🙌❤️
