Who actually trains at FitCamp?
You might imagine a group of people whose lives revolve around working out.
But that isn’t really who FitCamp is for.
The women who train with us have busy jobs, businesses, families and plenty of other demands on their time.
They include:
Runners who want their legs and knees to cope with the miles.
Walkers and hikers who want to keep enjoying long days and challenging hills.
Skiers and snowboarders who want the strength and fitness to carry their equipment, spend longer on the slopes and take fewer rests.
Women who enjoy events and physical challenges….and others who have absolutely no desire to enter a race but want to stay fit, mobile and independent.
One member joined because sore knees were affecting her running. After working on her strength, the pain has gone and she confidently has ran a marathon and a several half’s.
Another can now climb stairs and mountains without getting out of breath. Her training helps her snowboard for longer, carry her kit more easily and almost keep up with the teenagers!
Another long-standing members said FitCamp has helped her remain active with her children as they’ve grown up:
“FitCamp has given me a solid fitness to build on for any challenge I take on.”
That’s what FitCamp is really about.
The sessions aren’t the end goal.
They provide the structured strength and conditioning that helps our members continue doing the things they enjoy outside FitCamp, with more strength, energy and confidence.
If you’re an active woman over 45 who wants your body to keep up with everything you still want to do, FitCamp could be the support you’re looking for.
