25 years (half my life) w/o my mother's physical presence.

My mother's love has sustained our family all of this time. We still live by the principles she taught us. Love GOD, one another and thy neighbor. Treat people how you want to be treated. Never look up or down to anyone because "we all fall short of the glory of GOD" she taught us loyalty (to stick together and let nothing and no one come between us), compassion, intelligence, to use our GOD given gifts before they are taken away, to dream and believe, to get a great education but lean heavily on our common sense, to pray in all situations and thru all situations and most importantly she taught us to have faith because all we needed was the faith of a mustard see. She used to say "the only thing you can do for GOD is care for GODs ppl"

20 yrs ago my sister Toya @toybently founded SHIRLEY'S ANGELS @shirleys4angels to continue on my mother's legacy of compassion and love. Please join @shirleys4angels in our agenda to always SEE A NEED AND FILL A NEED from feeding the hungry to providing toiletries to those living on the streets to assisting our Altadena community affected my the fires and more.

We are the product of being raised by a great woman and @shirleys4angels is her legacy!!!
