✨ NCGR BLOG SUBMISSIONS ARE OPEN! ✨
We're inviting submissions for our November and December blogs. Each month has its own theme and form, so please submit to the one that fits your piece (or both!).
NOVEMBER: "Five Planets Retrograde"
A season when the sky turns inward, asking us to revisit and reconsider.
Submissions due October 23 at 11:59 pm EST
Submit here: https://forms.gle/xusQxXBJdMAAp7EVA
A few ideas:
• The individual retrogrades of the season and how their cycles interact
• Retrograde stations and shadow periods: technique and timing
• How traditional and modern astrologers have interpreted retrograde motion
DECEMBER: "2027: The Year Ahead"
A look at the cycles, ingresses, and turning points shaping the coming year.
Submissions due October 30 at 11:59 pm EST
Submit here: https://forms.gle/UhT4eJDc9tFs7rbW9
A few ideas:
• Key outer-planet transits and ingresses of 2027 and their mundane significance
• The 2027 eclipse cycle: where the eclipses fall and what past cycles in that series suggest
• Forecasting methods for the year ahead, such as Aries ingress charts, lunations, or annual profections
Other ideas are welcome too! We're especially seeking research-based pieces.
Submission Guidelines (both months):
• Maximum 500 words
• No more than 2 charts, submitted as clear, high-resolution images
• Include a brief author bio (2–3 sentences)
• You must be an NCGR member to be published in the blog
A note on our process: Our editors review every submission and will reach out directly if they select your piece. You may not hear back right away, but we keep all submissions on file for future editions.
We look forward to reading your work!
