ECOWAS PARLIAMENT SECRETARIAT LAUNCHES PINK OCTOBER 2026 CAMPAIGN

The Secretariat of the ECOWAS Parliament has launched its *Pink October 2026 Awareness Campaign* to promote breast cancer awareness, encourage early detection and strengthen solidarity with those affected by the disease.

Under the message *“No One Should Face Breast Cancer Alone,”* the initiative seeks to encourage informed conversations about breast health, promote regular screening and challenge the stigma associated with breast cancer. It also highlights the importance of timely diagnosis, access to quality care and support for affected individuals and families across West Africa.
The campaign reinforces a simple but vital message: early detection can save lives, and no one should face breast cancer alone.
