This weekend was a little pinch me moment ⬇️🤓🫶🏻

I spent the weekend at a conference with my college, surrounded by hundreds of people who share a passion for women’s hormonal health, nutrition and supporting others. It was incredibly inspiring, and I left feeling something I haven’t always felt in life, a real sense of alignment. For the first time in a long time, I feel like I know where I’m going.

This course has given me so much more than knowledge. It’s given me purpose, direction and a reason to turn everything I’ve been through into something meaningful.
But my story didn’t start here.
It actually started 13 years ago, when I first began training to become a nutritionist. Back then, I was searching for answers for myself. I wanted to understand my body, my health and why things weren’t as they should be. I remember thinking, there must be something I can do to fix myself.

What I didn’t realise at the time was just how many other people were asking the same questions. How many were searching for answers, trying to make sense of their symptoms and looking for someone who would listen in a system that can sometimes leave people feeling unheard.

Life, as it often does, had other plans. I had to put my studies on hold, telling myself I’d pick them back up soon. But days turned into months, months turned into years, and somehow that little part of me that wanted to understand more never really went away.

I kept learning. I kept asking questions. I stayed curious.
Then, at the beginning of last year, I underwent major surgery again. And somewhere in the middle of recovery, I made myself a promise.
If I could take anything from my own experiences, I wanted it to be the ability to help someone else feel a little less alone in theirs.

To support other women who are searching for answers. To help them feel heard, understood and empowered to learn more about their own health.

And now, here I am.
Sitting in a room with hundreds of other people, all with their own stories, their own reasons for being there and their own journeys that have led them to this point.

(Continued in the comments 🙈😅 If you got this far, congrats

It made me realise that we all arrive here carrying something. For some, it’s a personal experience. For others, it’s a loved one’s story. But somewhere along the way, that experience has sparked a desire to understand more and make a difference. I sat there feeling incredibly grateful. Grateful that, despite the detours, the pauses and the years in between, I found my way back to something that has always been a part of me. Maybe the timing wasn’t wrong all those years ago. Maybe I just needed the life experience to understand why it mattered so much. I know I still have so much to learn, and I’m only at the beginning of this next chapter. But for the first time, I’m not just searching for answers for myself. I’m learning so that one day I can help others find theirs, too. And honestly? I feel like I’m exactly where I’m meant to be 🫶🏻
