Dental hygienist here…you can get chlamydia, syphilis and HPV, as well as gonorrhea in your mouth/throat. Seeing as the mucosa of the genitalia is made of basically the same thing as your mouth; most STI’s can be transferred to your mouth 🤷🏼♀️ yet your local dental professional will likely not discuss this with you as it makes people uncomfortable. But knowledge is power.
