Musical artist @ejae_k and former producer Samuel Kim’s relationship first began as a creative collaboration. A mutual friend set the two up for a songwriting session at Sam’s home studio in May 2017. “We worked on a couple of songs, but mostly, we just connected," she shares. The two kept things professional—until a night out, when Sam confessed his feelings. They've been together ever since.

They chose Seoul as the place to tie the knot, which allowed the couple to infuse their heritage into the events. The weekend began with a Paebaek ceremony and a welcome party featuring Korean fusion cuisine. Ejae and Sam exchanged vows on October 17 in a place especially meaningful for the bride. “My grandparents lived in the house at the venue when I was a little girl,” she shares.
