I’ve built a lot of BMWs but this car is by far my favorite creation yet. Not only because I have never built a car to this degree. Not only because I built it for me and me only, this car will never be sold, but also because it was built with purpose. To go do motorsports!!

This project ended up taking me almost all year but I was still able to go out and battle test it at a few events this season and I could not be more proud. My debut event after completion(the day after) was a hill climb time trial and I managed to push this car to 7th fastest time of the day out of 45 drivers up the 2.3 mile course. This came as a huge surprise to me. And subsequent track days proved that my creation not only worked, but is an absolute weapon.

Period correct DTM inspiration using various period grp. A parts, modernized and built to my liking. Chassis was stripped bare, repainted, and wired from complete scratch keeping only the crucial systems in place. A car that was campaigning since before I was born in the motorsport field, restored, revamped, and catered to its new pilot(me).
36 years of being used as an E30 M3 was intended and cheers to many more🥂

I haven’t completed everything yet but next season hopefully my @f3wheels will be fitted as well!
