Tijuanazo, the Tijuana taqueria known for its adobada, now has a takeout window in Echo Park.
Tijuanero by Tijuanazo opened Sept 24 in the former Los Burritos space, serving adobada, asada, birria, chorizo and vegetarian as tacos, mulitas, vampiros and burritos.
First order: the adobada, cooked on the trompo and topped with avocado crema and a slice of pineapple. Say yes to "con todo?" and each taco comes with a set topping combination.
Aguas frescas include horchata and jamaica. Soft-opening hours are Tue–Sun 12–10pm, and it's closed Mondays, so plan it for tomorrow.
