Sorry but I have to say that the South at Te Arai isn’t a patch on the Doak course, and neither are close to Tara Iti. The properties that border Te Arai are also completely overdone. I get you need to pay for the course construction but this isn’t the masterpiece it’s ranked at. Many better in my opinion

Also, New Zealand, is an amazing place for a golf and life trip. It is far, but it is also affordable and beautiful, an amazing place that should be on the list for golfers and non golfers!
