THE FUTURE OF VERTICAL CITIES | DR. ANTONY WOOD, PhD, RIBA

Join the UT San Antonio School of Architecture + Planning for a lecture by Dr. Antony Wood, Professor-in-Practice and Director of the Masters in Tall Buildings and Vertical Urbanism program at the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT).

The Future of Vertical Cities invites a conversation about the evolving relationship between architecture, sustainability, and urban density, exploring how tall buildings shape the cities we inhabit and the possibilities for more sustainable urban futures.

With decades of international experience in architecture, research, and education, Dr. Wood has helped advance the global conversation surrounding tall buildings and vertical urbanism. As former President and CEO of the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH), his work has contributed to a deeper understanding of how cities grow, adapt, and respond to the challenges of an increasingly urbanized world.

Join us as we consider the future of our cities and the role architecture plays in shaping them.
