@tugruvu If you are just starting out, then I disagree. I think when you get really good with your instrument, I mean really comfortable with it, the quality of the music should be a focus. As you make more money you can always upgrade, I am just prioritizing music quality over gear purchase amounts.

I would argue, like I am born to do, that those level of speakers would be great for movies...sound design, the well needed dialog clarification. But for music production, Jake is right. Spend the $ on some good speakers, and some on you, your gear, or promo. Move up when you can, but make some music in the meantime wouldja.
