[MESSAGE FROM THE CLERGY]

We wish to inform you in celebration of surpassing 1 Billion streams, we’re inviting you to the story behind the Mary on a Cross animated video with director Sean Donnelly: original storyboards, reference footage, and the full process.

In June 2017, 13-year-old Karanbir “Karan” Cheema was at his school in Greenford, west London, when a classmate flicked a small piece of cheese at him, and it went down his collar. Karan had severe allergies to dairy, wheat, eggs and nuts, and he quickly went into anaphylactic shock. He d*ed in hospital on July 9, 2017, with his family by his side.

The other boy, also 13, was arrested but never charged. At the inquest in 2019, the coroner described it as a “childish and thoughtless act” that “was not calculated to cause serious harm.” She also found that the school’s allergy care had been inadequate. Karan had only one EpiPen at school, and it was 11 months out of date.

His mother said she had taught him to read all about his condition and that he could have been “anything he wanted.” The coroner sent warnings to nine organisations, including the school and UK government departments, to help prevent similar tragedies.

No funeral, no obituary. Just a postcard with nine words and a selfie in yellow aviators 🕶️💌

Before he died, retired design professor Don Glickman gave his daughter, Leah, one last assignment: mail postcards to more than 100 of his favorite people, from former students to old friends and colleagues.

Each one carried the same message in clean, bold type: “If you’re reading this, I’m dead, and I really liked you.” He picked the photo and the words himself.

Weeks after his death at 94, the cards started landing in mailboxes. Many of the people who got them said they laughed out loud, because it was exactly how he’d always been: direct, funny and never shy about letting someone know they mattered to him ❤️

We truly are spirits in the material world 💋❤️ everything you give into the universe, you get! The veil is thin today “Our so-called leaders speak
With words they try to jail you
They subjugate the meek
But it's the ✨✨✨Rhetoric of Failure ✨✨✨✨” #diadelosSantos #diadelosmuertos 👻🖤
