Big emotions. Little hearts. So much happening beneath the surface. 🥹💙

As a mum raising a neurodivergent child, I’ve learnt that sometimes the hardest moments aren’t about behaviour at all.

They’re about a little person feeling something so intensely but not always having the words to explain it.

And I won’t pretend I always get it right.

There are moments when I’m overwhelmed too. Moments when my patience runs thin. Moments when I wish I knew exactly what my child needed.

But I’m learning that sometimes the most powerful thing I can offer isn’t a solution.

It’s my calm. My patience. My presence. 🤍

Some days these strategies work beautifully. Other days, we try again.

And that’s okay.

Our children don’t need perfect parents. They need parents willing to understand them.

💙 Save this post for those difficult days.

🫶 Share it with a parent who might need a little encouragement today.
