@acura has recently trademarked the names LDX, TDX, Type Trail and Type T. These trademarks indicate that the new three row that sits above the MDX will utilize the LDX name while the new off road focused SUV will be called TDX. It also seems that Acura will have a new Trail rated trim called Type T or Type Trail which will focus heavily on off-road equipped models. It’s unsure if Acura will continue the Type S name for future Acura models.
