The world has always tried to get me to become tough and unbothered, but the more I got to know Jesus the more I didn’t have to pretend to be somebody I’m not.

I’m definitely soft and care deeply, but the Lord has taught me what that practically looks like through His love for me and how I can feel what I feel without letting my feelings take over. Now I get to love others the same way Christ has loved me and I will forever be grateful for it.
