Six years later, where are we as a nation? We will never forget
#EndSARS.
To our leaders, what exactly are you subsidising for the Nigerian people? Because everything seems to be getting more expensive, life is becoming harder, and the ordinary Nigerian is struggling to survive.
In as much as I try to see the good in this present administration, I cannot ignore the pain, frustration, and hopelessness many Nigerians face daily.
Six years ago, young Nigerians took to the streets demanding a country where their lives mattered, where the police would protect rather than oppress them, and where leadership meant service, not power. Many paid dearly for daring to speak up.
Today, I ask: what has truly changed? Are Nigerians safer? Is life more affordable? Can an average Nigerian live with dignity and hope for tomorrow?
Dear Nigerian leaders, we are not asking for a perfect nation. We are asking for a country where survival is not a daily battle, where our voices matter, and where our sacrifices are not in vain.
We are tired of promises. We need results. We need empathy. We need leadership that understands the reality of the people it governs.
Nigeria belongs to all of us, not just those in power. The people deserve better, and we must never stop asking for better.
We remember. We will not forget.
