You can have the best cards in the room and still get overlooked.
Sometimes it’s not your inventory. It’s the experience you’re creating.
What makes you stop at a vendor’s table?

Yup price should be displayed and signage. Even if it’s by generation.

If a vendor has 3 tables, or the majority of their product is sealed I don’t give it more than a glance tbh. The shows around me though you make good relationships with vendors and one of our bigger locals the last two shows the largest scalper crew in the area (200 people covering a 3rd id the state) the majority of folks are ignoring them at shows. And they’ve been trying to dump on marketplace 😂

You guys are all trash. You buy at 70-75% and sell at 100%+ market. Even if you do have prices you say “let me just double check real fast I priced that last week” and I know your tricks. You only have prices on cards that are going up in value and don’t price the ones staying the same or going down. You guys don’t get sales because your stuff is too expensive so people are only looking for very specific cards that you either don’t have or have it priced too highly because “predictions” you guys are scum

Binder cards get prices or has a mean price on the outside for 1 or multiples. Slabs should have a price that can be looked up and discussed or a QR code to a site that has real time prices on every item. If it takes too long, make time. Time is money. And a deal happens when people know what they’re trying to negotiate price on not oh I found a price, well this is the price I found, this is what it sold for recently….blah blah. What’s the base I need to negotiate? Let’s go from there. If you have to comp everything, people are walking away

As a father of 2 kids, if all I see is $200+ cards I’m walking away. If your binder has no prices then I know you will comp it out on the spot and if I want 5 cards then I’m just waiting for you to price, you should of done that beforehand, I’m walking away.

I’m a decisive collector. I know exactly what I want. I ask you if you have what I’m looking for and if you don’t I go to the next table. I can’t respect a vendor who doesn’t make trades though.

I agree 100 percent. It’s all science of sales Presentation is key Visibility How organized does your table look But most importantly being engaged with the customer and finding their needs!
