A beautiful new shop has landed in Western Mass! @worksonpapershop is a stationery, print, and art book shop created by Alexis Arcaro ✨

I stopped in on a recent trip to the area for @nohopbf and treated myself to a luxurious mini planner from the Japanese brand HIGHTIDE, a sticker from @anisamakhoul, and a silky new pen.

Shop at 16 miles st. Greenfield, MA, Thursday & Friday 11-6, Saturday & Sunday 11-4 🌞

Image 1: on a pink background, red text reads ‘STOCKIST SPOTLIGHT / WORKS ON PAPER / GREENFIELD, MASSACHUSETTS’ with a photo of SICk issues 6 and 7 on the shelves Image 2: On a pink background, red text reads: “I've always dreamt of having my very own book and stationery shop, a place where I could curate all of my favorite things together. I thought that this dream would come to fruition maybe 5 or 10 years from now but the stars seemed to have aligned for me in the past year, so I just ran with it. I think that the most important thing is carrying printed material by independent artists and publishers. I want my shop to be a place where my community can experience and support the work of folks who self-publish. Many voices are underrepresented in traditional publishing so seeking out these works is an opportunity to better reflect and support new, exciting, and necessary art. ” Image 3: a photo of the store with books and zines on display Image 4: On a pink background, red text reads: “We are living through a pivotal moment in which it does feel truly important and worthwhile to encourage art and literature as forms of connection. To fight for the better world we know is possible, we need to imagine it together - and many of these self-published works help us do exactly that. Every book and zine in my shop has had an impact on me personally whether its made me laugh, cry, opened my mind to new ideas, or just stopped me in my tracks with its beauty. SICK magazine checks every box!” Image 5: a photo of stickers for sale Image 6: a photo of a paper bag carrying my purchases on top of the book ‘An Encyclopedia o radical helping’
