KILMURRAY X HSDC // NOV 14 + 15 // 2-DAY WORKSHOP // Convened by Hubbard Street Dance Chicago and led by Chicago-based dance artist @e__kilmurray, join us on November 14 + 15 to explore the kinetic energy of the dance floor through pulse, rhythm, repetition, momentum, anticipation, iteration, and accumulation. 🔊〰️🪩✨🌀🎵
Developed alongside Kilmurray’s current work-in-process, this workshop introduces participants to the foundations of their practice through set choreographic phrasing, independent devising exercises, and improvisational scores. These practices build toward a culminating choreographic structure, accompanied by a live sound score from legendary Chicago house/techno DJ Ariel Zetina @arielzetina.
Experienced dancers age 18+ who self-identify as intermediate/advanced are welcome to register. No audition required. → Learn More + Register at the 🔗 in bio. ✨
