Ghosts? Fine. Spiders? We’ll negotiate. But some things in aesthetics genuinely give me the chills… 👀

From mystery products to knowing when NOT to treat, these are five things that scare me as a practitioner.

Swipe if you dare. This Halloween, the only corners we’re cutting are on our pumpkins. 🎃

The mystery should be in your Halloween film not in the vial.

You deserve to know what product is being used, where it came from and who is responsible for your care.

Ask questions. Ask to see the packaging. A professional should welcome that conversation.

“Don’t worry about it, babe” is not the reassurance we’re looking for. 🚩

Your filler doesn’t need a change of postcode. 👻

If something looks different from what you expected, the answer isn’t automatically another top-up.

Before adding more, we need a proper assessment and an honest conversation about what’s already there.

Sometimes the best treatment plan starts with a pause not another syringe.

Matching Halloween outfits? Absolutely.
Matching treatment plans? Not necessarily.

Your bestie’s results can be inspiration, but your facial features, existing treatments and goals deserve their own assessment.

Bring the inspiration photo. We’ll have the conversation. But your face isn’t a copy-and-paste project. 🖤

The scariest answer to “What happens if something goes wrong?” is silence.

A treatment appointment should involve more than the procedure itself: clear discussion of risks, aftercare and who to contact if you’re concerned.

Ask your practitioner how they recognise and manage complications.

Pretty Instagram pictures are lovely. A clear emergency plan matters more.

When the goalpost keeps moving, it’s time for a conversationnot pressure to book another treatment.

If you’re leaving every appointment searching for something else to change, you deserve to feel heard and supported.

There’s no judgement in pressing pause. And there’s nothing wrong with deciding not to have treatment.

You are a person to care for not a list of flaws to fix. 🖤

I’m here for spooky season—not mystery products, rushed decisions or treatment without a proper conversation.

At HAUS OF ZZ, my approach is personal: liste
