Thirteen-year-old Filipino weightlifter PrinceJhay Cuyson proved that strength and style can go hand in hand. Competing in the youth 55-kilogram category at HD Lift Off 2026, Cuyson successfully lifted 51 kilograms in the clean and jerk before celebrating with a hair flip and blown kiss that quickly gained attention online. He also recorded a 35-kilogram lift in the snatch. Organized by Olympic gold medalist @hidilyndiaz, the event served as a platform to showcase the talents of young Filipino weightlifters. According to Cuyson’s coach, the 13-year-old only started training in weightlifting in March and aspires to become an athlete who will make his family and the Philippines proud.
