A very special shout out is needed for this wonderful boy! Dexter is often not the biggest of fans when it comes to strangers but he very kindly let me into his space and did the very best thing he could do, which was ignore me whilst he played ball with his beautiful Mum and showed me his tricks from a distance. (He may have also thrown a few of his signature ‘frowns’ my way 😉🤭)

Dexter’s session has been a long time coming with many many months of this year’s heat waves scuppering our sessions. So it was so good to finally meet him & his family to capture some pawtraits together.

Lavinder wanted photos of her beautiful boy in a space he was most comfortable, playing with his toys and thoroughly enjoying himself. And good boy Dexter did not disappoint as He zoomed endlessly around the garden after his ball with super speed!

As always, my favourite thing about a session is seeing the bond shared between pups and their people. Lavi and Dexter have a very special love together and it sure does show. After so much careful planning to make sure everyone was as comfortable as possible, it was a delight to see their closeness. A lot of hard work has gone into training and it means so much to get to watch the confidence they have as they worked so amazingly on sits and spins 🥰
