An astounding display of creativity.

Literarily captivating, visually stunning, and sonically entrancing. ->

The Lord of the Rings trilogy has always held a special place in my heart. Tolkien’s books, story and personal visuals hold significant weight, but what really had an impact on me was the passion and practicality that was put into the films.

Forever one of my greatest inspirations, Howard Shore, who composed and scored the trilogy, graciously gifted this epic the most impressive and expressive sonic landscape a story has ever had, and that left an impact on me.

The score filled me with a burning desire to create something with as much meaning and emotional integrity as possible. I often lean on it and use it as a North Star to my writing.

🎥: Mike Tyson's "You Have to Go" Interview | Real Sports / HBO Interview | Viral Clip

This heartbreaking clip comes from an old Real Sports interview where Mike Tyson was asked to reflect on the loss of his four-year-old daughter Exodus, who died in 2009 after a tragic accident involving a treadmill cord at his home gym. As the conversation got deeper, Tyson described his raw, initial reaction to the tragedy, admitting his first instinct was dark rage before the pain of seeing other grieving families at the hospital shifted his perspective.

The moment goes viral periodically because of how Tyson handled his emotions, staring directly at the reporter and calmly saying he needed the interview to end rather than breaking down on camera. Years later the Real Sports journalist recalled feeling truly unnerved in that moment, a stark contrast to the boxer's fearsome public image, showing a rare, vulnerable side of 'Iron Mike' as a grieving father rather than a fighter.
