If Democrats had spent much of President Donald Trump’s second term searching for a way to break his grip on Washington, voters had now handed them one. The midterms generated a blue wave that swept Republicans out of power in the House and the Senate, reversing the party’s fortunes just two years after Trump’s return to the White House. The results amounted to a decisive rebuke of a President whose handling of the economy, rising prices, and the war with Iran had fueled widespread discontent, and who spent the closing days of the campaign musing about candidates’ anatomy and dismissing Americans’ concerns over their bottom line.

For the first time since Trump returned to Washington, Democrats will be able to set the legislative agenda, compel testimony from Administration officials, investigate allegations of corruption, and force Republicans to take difficult votes. Party leaders see an opportunity to turn the public’s discontent with Trump into a sustained argument for returning Democrats to the White House in 2028.

Interviews with more than two dozen Democratic leaders, strategists, and members of Congress reveal a party itching to fight on nearly every front the President has opened. But when the midterm victory laps conclude, the Democrats’ deeper problems will be waiting for them. Even leading up to their midterm victory, surveys showed the party remains unpopular. Its leaders are divided over how far left to move, what kind of economic message will win back the voters who abandoned them in 2024, and how aggressively to confront Trump.

زنی جوان در تیک‌تاک این پرسش را مطرح می‌کند و با اشاره به تیرگی زیر چشم‌ها، رنگ‌پریدگی پوست و شکنندگی موها، این علائم را به پایین بودن سطح آهن در بدن نسبت می‌دهد. او برای اثبات ادعایش، تصاویری از وضعیت خود پیش و پس از درمان را نیز به نمایش می‌گذارد.

این تولیدکننده محتوا می‌گوید این ویژگی‌ها به سطح آهن بدنش مربوط هستند.

این فقط یکی از شمار رو به افزایش ویدیوها و پست‌ها در تیک‌تاک و اینستاگرام است که ادعا می‌کنند پایین بودن فریتین، پروتئینی که آهن را در بدن ذخیره می‌کند، می‌تواند نشانه‌هایی قابل مشاهده روی صورت بر جا بگذارد.

کاربران از پوست رنگ‌پریده یا متمایل به خاکستری، تیرگی زیر چشم، لب‌های خشک یا ترک‌خورده، ریزش مو و ناخن‌های ضعیف نام می‌برند و برخی نیز عکس‌هایی منتشر می‌کنند که به گفته آن‌ها تفاوت ظاهری چشمگیری را نشان می‌دهد.
