Here’s a little story about something you probably did this morning without thinking twice. Back in the early 1900s, sweat was just… sweat. Nobody really worried about it. A small company had a product that kept you dry, but most people simply didn’t see the point. Then in 1919, an ad agency tried something different. Instead of selling a solution, one copywriter sold a question: what if you smell, and you’re the last one to know? The magazine got angry letters. Some readers even canceled. And sales still went through the roof. That one idea quietly changed how a whole country thought about their own bodies, and it’s still working today. Not telling you to throw anything away. Just worth noticing how many of our daily habits started as someone’s sales pitch. What’s a habit you’ve never questioned? 👀 Go quiet. Watch. Your job as a husband is to protect your wife. Even if the one attacking her is your own mother.
HU Staff: Jamal Osborne @_j.osborne Burger King is facing public backlash after a white employee was filmed wearing what appeared to be blackface while working at a restaurant’s drive-thru on Halloween. ___________________________________________________ The video, which spread widely online, shows the employee with dark makeup covering her face. A customer confronted her about the costume and explained why the appearance was offensive. ___________________________________________________ Burger King has since addressed the controversy in a statement. “We are aware of the video and take the matter very seriously,” the company said. The fast-food chain added that the franchise owner was addressing the situation with the employee, the manager, and the broader team. “The Franchisee of this location is addressing the situation with his team, manager, and Team Member to ensure everyone involved understands why this is not acceptable and won’t happen again,” Burger King said. ___________________________________________________ Click the link in bio for full story 📸 TMZ
