FINISH WHAT YOU STARTED 🔥

Starting is one thing. Finishing is another.

Don’t let past mistakes, the time that’s passed or the challenges ahead stop you from moving forward!!

It’s not by might, nor by power, but by His Spirit. Keep your focus on His plan, depend on His supply and pursue His glory amen

“Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,” says the LORD Almighty.
Zechariah 4:6 NIV

What have you started that you need to keep trusting God to finish?

CHRIS ADLER — LAMB OF GOD ERA! 🥁🔥 When we talk about drummers who helped DEFINE the sound of modern heavy metal, CHRIS ADLER absolutely belongs in that conversation! His work with LAMB OF GOD is a masterclass in SPEED, PRECISION, GROOVE, and rhythmic CREATIVITY. But one thing I’ve always found FASCINATING about Chris is his approach to CYMBALS! In a genre where drummers often gravitate toward MASSIVE cymbals, Chris took a DIFFERENT approach. His setups featured smaller cymbals, including 8” and 12” SPLASHES and 14” CRASHES. And here’s what I absolutely LOVE. Chris would actually RIDE on SPLASH CYMBALS during some of Lamb of God’s HEAVIEST sections! Instead of the sustained WASH of a huge crash, those smaller cymbals delivered a TIGHT, ARTICULATE sound that cut through the distorted guitars. Of course, he wasn’t afraid to go BIG either. The man also played a MASSIVE 24” RIDE! And that SNARE DRUM! His 12” x 5.5” Mapex Black Panther produced that unmistakable, cutting CRACK that became such an important part of his sound. Combine those choices with his intricate double-bass patterns and syncopated grooves, and you get something instantly RECOGNIZABLE. Go listen to “Ruin,” “Laid to Rest,” “Redneck,” or “Walk with Me in Hell.” Some absolutely NASTY drum parts! But what makes Chris so important to me isn’t just his TECHNIQUE. It’s that he developed a recognizable MUSICAL IDENTITY. The cymbal choices. The snare sound. The intricate kick patterns. The way his grooves lock in with those CRUSHING guitar riffs. You hear it, and you KNOW who’s behind the kit. And THAT is one of the hardest things to accomplish as a musician. So much has already been done that finding your OWN sound can feel almost IMPOSSIBLE. But when you stay true to YOURSELF and YOUR musical tastes instead of constantly chasing what everyone else is doing, something truly PERSONAL can emerge. Chris Adler is PROOF of that! 🥁🔥 What’s YOUR favorite Chris Adler drum performance? #drums #drumvideo #metaldrummer #lambofgod #chrisadler
The rich almost never sell what they own, and that one habit keeps them rich for generations. 💰♟️ When most people need cash, they cash out. Sell, pay the tax, spend what’s left. The wealthy do the opposite. Instead, they borrow against their assets. Their stocks, property and company shares stay invested and keep growing, while loans against them pay for their lifestyle. In many countries, borrowed money isn’t treated as income, so it isn’t taxed the way a salary or a sale is. Some keep repeating this for decades. The contrast is brutal. A worker pays tax on every paycheck before seeing a cent. Someone with enough assets can live on borrowed money while their wealth keeps compounding untouched. It carries real risk, and it only works once you own assets worth borrowing against, but that’s the game most people are never taught. Learn how money really moves, then build a life where your assets work harder than you ever have to.
