Esther was placed in a position she never could have imagined, but being chosen didn’t mean she wouldn’t be challenged. Her purpose required courage, obedience, discernment, and a willingness to trust God even when the outcome was uncertain.

I think we can become so focused on praying for the things we desire that we forget to pray for the character and spiritual maturity needed to handle them.

We ask God to open doors, but are we allowing Him to prepare us for what comes with walking through them? Because the responsibility attached to our prayers can require just as much faith as the waiting did.

Esther had to make a decision. She could remain comfortable in the position she’d been given, or she could be obedient to the purpose God had placed before her.

That’s something worth examining in our own lives. Are we willing to let God develop us, correct us, stretch us, and challenge the very things within us that could keep us from walking fully in His will?

A prayer for the women we’re becoming:

Lord, don’t just change my circumstances. Continue transforming me into a woman who can faithfully steward everything You’ve called me to do. 🤍

“And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?"-Est 4:14 🙏🏽🤍
