What happens when a community comes together for a cause that matters? An incredible $9,229.25 raised – and the top fundraising spot at the 10th annual Cheryl’s Run! 💙
Team McElhanney gathered at Laurier Park in Edmonton to walk, run, and rally behind the Awasisak Indigenous Health Program at the Stollery Children’s Hospital. The program provides culturally-sensitive care and practical, emotional, and spiritual support to Indigenous children and families navigating the health care system.
This year’s total was powered by many contributions: individual donations from friends and family, support from #McElhanneyCares and our Edmonton branch, and the always-popular Taco-in-a-Bag lunch fundraiser. Over the past three years, Team McElhanney has raised and donated $26,478.76 through Cheryl’s Run.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who walked, ran, donated, attended the lunch, or helped spread the word!
