Stepping back in time at the Bathurst Goldfields! ⛏️
Our Year 5 students got a taste of life during the Australian Gold Rush, trying their luck at gold panning (with a few specks of gold found!), learning about famous discoveries like the Holtermann Nugget, and giving damper making and mud brick making a go.
Old-time games brought another part of history to life, while a stop at Scenic World in the Blue Mountains saw the boys take on the very steep Scenic Railway!
A camp full of discovery, adventure and a little gold fever.
