10 Reads until Halloween!

How many have you read? What’s your favourite?

Locke & Key by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodríguez

When the Locke family move to Keyhouse, their ancestral home in Lovecraft, Massachusetts, they discover a collection of mysterious keys, each with its own extraordinary power. But something sinister is lurking beneath the house, and it wants those keys for itself.

Joe Hill’s Locke & Key is a brilliantly unsettling blend of supernatural horror, family trauma and dark fantasy. Gabriel Rodríguez’s artwork is wonderfully inventive, shifting from intimate family drama to genuinely nightmarish horror with incredible fluidity. Daredevil: Cold Day in Hell by Charles Soule and Steve McNiven

What begins as another day in the life of Matt Murdock quickly becomes something far more serious. After a devastating event leaves Daredevil without his powers, he’s forced to confront a world he can no longer experience in the same way, while a dangerous threat begins to take shape around him.

A gripping mix of superhero drama, crime thriller and dystopian mystery, Daredevil: Cold Day in Hell gives Matt Murdock a very different kind of challenge. Charles Soule’s sharp, character-driven story is brought to life by Steve McNiven’s detailed artwork, making this a tense and atmospheric take on one of Marvel’s most enduring heroes.

Beautiful Darkness by Fabien Vehlmann and Kerascoët

What begins as a seemingly ordinary story quickly turns into something far more unsettling. When a group of ti
