From the chaos of the stage with SOFT PLAY to finding a new voice of his own,
@thelaurievincent is entering an exciting new chapter with
@bigtruckshow.
Far more than a side project, the band gives Laurie the space to explore a different side of his artistry, blending spoken word, punk and storytelling into something deeply personal.
Their debut album, Midway at the Middleway, is a candid reflection of Laurie’s thoughts and experiences, brought to life alongside longtime friend and drummer Sam Coppings, keyboardist Justin Myles and guitarist Asa Thallon.
In conversation with 1883 Magazine, Laurie opens up about stepping into the role of frontman and lyricist, finding his voice as a songwriter, balancing music with family life and discovering what Big Truck means to him at this stage of his life.
With demos for a second album already in the works, Laurie is only just beginning to explore the possibilities of this new chapter.
