This is just a bit of how I think Lestat would do the Q&A on his Instagram story, because in season 3, heavily implied that Lestat does have social media (because he made several references to the internet) so it is not only my imagination โ it actually is in the show.
But I still think that his rock star lifestyle would have been so fun to explore in more detail.
Unfortunately, the production chose not to show any content of Lestat just playing around on the internet with his fans.
But it's still enjoyable for an editor like me to create silly content like this; because when I don't like something about the show, then I just do what ever I want with other aspects of it that I actually do like.
I think the vampire fantasy is more interesting for something like this because, when I compare it to the reality of normal Q&As where watching a celebrity answer questions can be interesting. But it can also be boring and repetitive when they get asked the same questions over and over. Even when they get an interesting question that they would like to answer genuinely, they can not be 100% honest because most celebrities are forced to be professional and politically-correct.
But Lestat is definitely the opposite.ย
He is absolutely not going to be professional or give politically-correct answers.ย
So, I really had to be true to his bold personality.
How lucky it is for me that Instagram only allows videos to be at one minute long, because this little 40 second clip is about as much as I can take from Lestat's chaotic energy today.ย
NOTE: This edit is fake and made for entertainment purposes only.
Obviously, I know this character has a lot of fans, so there would be thousands of questions for him. But I do imagine he is high on drugs for his tour. He's not interested in serious questions or a professional interview because if he wanted that bull shit, then he would just talk to Daniel Molloy.
But he would be more playful when talking to his fans online.
I think Lestat would get banned from social media, very often, just for him getting too spicy and having too much fun. ๐ ๐ฏ
