This is such a powerful truth. The real luxury isn’t just the salary, it’s the freedom to be present when it actually matters. I’ve realised that “more money elsewhere” often comes with less of the flexibility that makes the hard days manageable. The question I’m sitting with now is: what if the goal isn’t only a better-paying job, but also creating extra income streams that still bend around the school run, sick days, and the moments we never want to miss? That combination feels like the real gold.
