You spent the ad money. The page lost the parent.

Here’s what happens next: someone clicks your ad, lands on your site, and reads “friendly, experienced tutors.” So does every other tutoring site in their search results. Nothing on the page makes them stop scrolling and book.

Vague copy doesn’t push parents away, it just leaves them unconvinced. That’s three more tabs open while they compare you to competitors who sound exactly the same.

Trust comes from specifics, not better adjectives. A parent can check a subject, a number, a name. Adjectives are just claims.

Swap one vague line for one specific one. “Friendly tutors” becomes “GCSE maths, taught by qualified teachers.” Same page, same traffic, but now it does the convincing instead of you.

Not sure what your page really says to parents? Comment AUDIT and we’ll find the vaguest line on your site.
