Yesterday, we held the third session of our Cine Consciente film series with a screening of Kiss the Ground, a documentary exploring the importance of soil health and how regenerative agriculture can help mitigate climate change, store carbon, conserve biodiversity and restore ecosystems.

Following the screening, we welcomed Elena Baraza, PhD from the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB), and Miquel Serra, who worked as a field technician at APAEMA for over a decade. They shared their knowledge and experiences on soil regeneration and the challenges facing agriculture in Mallorca.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and to our speakers for helping create a space for reflection and dialogue.

This film series is organised by Mallorca Preservation, in collaboration with @evolutionmallorcafilmfestival and @estudi.general
