Complacency is one major hindrance to what God is capable of doing in your life. God cannot do much with a person who has settled and no longer desires growth. Never allow what you have achieved to block what you can achieve. Paul says in Philippians 3:13–14 that he presses towards what is ahead.
Be content with what you have in this season, but desire more for the next season. Contentment is not complacency. Every new season will demand more faith, greater capacity, and a deeper level of work. Do not let gratitude for where you are keep you from pursuing where God is taking you.
In the Kingdom, we never settle for the bare minimum. We keep pressing, growing, and fulfilling our assignment until the coming of the Lord. Jesus said, “Occupy till I come” (Luke 19:13, KJV). You cannot fulfil that mandate with a bare minimum mentality. Be grateful for where you are, but never become so comfortable that you stop becoming all God has called you to be.
PURSUE, OVERTAKE & RECOVER ALL!!!!
