๐ŸŒ™๐ŸŒ™ @midnight_hags Follow us for daily Witches! โ€œDark Shadows - Angeliqueโ€™s Forbidden Ritualโ€ (1968) Angelique Bouchard Collins (often just called Angelique and played by Lara Parker) is the main antagonist of the original Dark Shadows gothic soap opera (1966โ€“1971). She is a powerful, immortal witch driven by a mix of obsessive love and vengeful hatred for Barnabas Collins. Angeliqueโ€™s forbidden ritual, performed in episode 627, is a dramatic candle-lit invocation in which she summons her dark overlord Diabolos (the โ€œPrince of Fireโ€ or โ€œMasterโ€) by calling upon the seven plagues, hoping to destroy the warlock Nicholas Blair and have her own curse of night lifted - only for the ceremony to backfire when Diabolos pulls her into his presence, rebukes her, defends his subordinate, and leaves her still bound by the very powers she tried to command. #darkshadows #witch #angelique #laraparker #witchcraft

48 hours in Doha with @CNN and the woman who taught me to be โ€œtruthful not neutral, and to never draw a false moral equivalence.โ€ @camanpour We experimented with our upcoming talk show format for @mediacityqa at #CNNGlobalPerspectives and it was FANTASTIC. I always do my best to wear local designers when I travel for events and was so grateful to arrive at my hotel with a closet full of @1309studios. The BEST serendipitous surprise, running into my friend @maisonartc who is based in Marrakech but happened to have an exhibition in Doha opening just hours after I ran into him. Gah, Iโ€™m such a fan of his work. Rehearsals while wearing the brilliant Sudanese designer, @maisonbdn for my talk. Visiting the new @iheartarabi studios with @dinaalhajjar and the best content manager and guide in Doha, @ameera.explores โค๏ธ Reading @narcynarceโ€™s Text Messages poetry book that I picked up at his @maktaba.bookshop in Montreal Felt like I matched the bathroom marble glam Final look, glam by @mariem.makeup_artist and hair by @hair_bywiam Chills listening to @itsdanaalmeer @itsdanaalmeer โค๏ธ Fitting for my talk with @maisonbdn and @pronto_me. Would love a reason to wear this gorgeous cape ๐Ÿฅฒ Pumping and preserving milk while across 4 different countries in 5 days was a full time job in itself. my lucky hijab <3 OG @velascarves leopard with โ€œchoice is powerโ€ printed on it. thereโ€™s no hotel breakfast like a hotel breakfast in an Arab country. For years my Mama has wanted me to connect with the incredible @timashomali, creator of Al Rawabi School for Girls on Netflix. She was a part of our talk <3 #CNNGlobalPerspectives One of the ways I prep for my talk is transcribing pre meetings to integrate what feels most alive in everyone before we hit the stage. @1309studios <3

We focus on one desire, one goal, one hope, when He has an entire bouquet of gifts prepared. But timing is everything. The garden blooms when the season is right. And when it does, the beauty and fragrance will surpass our wildest dreams. Yet, the garden also comes with thorns. Grief, pain, and struggles are part of the journey. But itโ€™s in those moments that we discover our strength, our resilience, and our faith. So, donโ€™t just wish for a rose, pray for the garden. Trust that Allahโ€™s plan is bigger and better than yours. And when the time is right, the garden will bloom, and the roses will flourish. And youโ€™ll realize that the thorns were worth it, for they made the beauty even more precious. Remember the verse โ€œBut perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you, and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah knows, while you know not. โ€œ Surah Al-Baqarah (2:216) ๐ŸŒน โ€ข Found the perfecttt GOLD dress @enzopk.official honestly obsessed and the service was 11/10 (loved how thry contacted me for lining the dress to my preference, we love a modest brand) - and the outfit was 10/10 for the price i paid! โ€ข #pakistaniwedding #pakistani #uk #explore #modest
