Meet William & Summer from @therepbirmingham!
The duo will be leading a workshop this November for our BEDLAM Symposium, exploring the Rep’s work in Theatre & Sanctuary.
▫️ William Costello leads creative engagement programmes at Birmingham Rep. With a specialist focus on accessible theatre, William has spent more than a decade removing barriers to cultural participation. His practice is rooted in the belief that theatre has the power to transform lives, strengthen communities and inspire positive social change.
▫️ Summer Taft specialises in early‑years practice and collaborative, child‑centred storytelling. Her Applied Theatre training allowed her to develop a practice grounded in social engagement, creative facilitation and the use of theatre as a tool for wellbeing and connection.
Come along and meet William and Summer in person at BEDLAM 2026, for their artist workshop & discussion.
🗓️ Theatre, Sanctuary & Wellbeing: Sat 7 Nov, 11am (Discussion) & 12.30pm (Workshop)
📍 Midlands Arts Centre
