night drive 🖤

my girls ; my art 🩵🪡
for my first ever runway I had the best team anyone could ask for truly , it felt more like a sisterhood then anything . all the models clicked immediately , there was so much laughter and everyone was helping everyone during fittings and glam it forreal felt very sleepover vibes lolol I don’t know how else to explain it. I’m so grateful for the behind the scenes help; my cousin Tiffany and Elica HELD IT DOWN. they made sure everyone had everything they needed and could want during and before the show. Elica did hair and make up on 12 models all by herself!!!!! ( I have never seen someone go so hard in the glam chair in my 10 years of modeling ) Tiffany kept my brain organized and whatever I forgot she already was on top of . She ran all the errands and did the absolute most for me from the help to the words of encouragement there is no way I could have accomplished this without her. She is the team In teamtigerlily; there wouldn’t have been a show without my cousin and I just don’t know how I’ll ever thank her for everything she does for me.
It was a first for many of us, my first time being a designer for a runway & so many models first time walking it! I wouldn’t have wanted to share this first with anybody else because now we are all so bonded over this ; I hope to do more and I know that I have the best team and models to call.
This is just the first ; to many many more and to even bigger stages . I’m bringing these girls with me .
( also I made so many looks we couldn’t even get them all on the runway lololol )
shout out to native action network for the recognition never in my life did I think I’d see “native women leading the way” next to my name. I’m so happy I started sharing my art ; I was so scared at first , of the judgment , of the comments or people just putting me in a box of whatever they seen me as before. I never wanted to be in a box ; I love learning new things I’ll never stop trying , I’ll never stop applying myself & I hope that whoever feels like they might be in a box to see this. And see they can stomp on the box and outgrow whatever you want in this life . ( rest in comments)

Gluten free Cornish pasties 😍

Bake off season is here so I thought I’d try to make a few gluten free recipes alongside it. Gluten free folk shouldn’t have to miss out!

The task was for handheld savoury pies, so all the contestants made very different things and this was what I decided to go for - a classic and one that uses my delicious, super easy ultimate shortcrust pastry recipe.

I made this one traditionally so with onions (so yay I can’t even eat it) but I provide alternatives like I do in my book as us onion free folk shouldn’t have to miss out either!

I’ve made so many gluten free hand pies over the years across my books. Many as my own gluten free takes on Greggs (but better of course!!) - steak bakes, cheese & onion bakes, sausage & bean bakes, chicken bakes, curry puffs & a whole host more 🙌

And... next week is Free From Party Week 🤯 how blooming exciting is that! It’s been 5 years since the last one, so fingers crossed it’s worth the wait 🥰

Right, comment RECIPE PLEASE and I’ll send you over the recipe 💌 for this week’s gluten free Cornish pasties AND for the ultimate shortcrust pastry recipe too.
