This past Saturday, our chapter attended the monthly Interim Council meeting at Elon University for the North Carolina Student Legislature!
From debating legislation to celebrating student leadership, our Aggies had an impactful experience advocating for issues that matter to North Carolina.
Discussions included K–12 school safety, teacher salary increases, and restoring polling places at HBCUs across North Carolina.
Congratulations to Michael Barlow on winning Joint Best Speaker and being voted in as Chief of the African American Caucus. The caucus was also voted in and is awaiting its official swearing-in.
We’re proud to see Aggies representing North Carolina A&T through civic engagement, leadership, and meaningful policy discussions.
