My paintings explore the emotional pull of wild spaces. Living with chronic pain and a dynamic disability I’ve learned to recognise the small glimmers nature offers: soft light through trees, the rhythmic pattern of waves lapping the shore, to the overall grounding effects of being outdoors. These moments feed my practice and shape the marks I make. My paintings echo this mix of fragility and strength, the way light and shadow meet in any honest experience. Through my work, I want to honour the healing relationships between people, creativity and the natural world.
What glimmers have you experienced in nature so far this season?
