Every one of these is a fear I hear on calls, usually as an apology before we’ve even started.
“Isn’t it a bit self-indulgent?”
“Will it actually sell, though?”
“Who cares what I had for lunch?”
Storytelling isn’t something you get convinced into. You either get it or you don’t (yet).
The people who don’t get it call it fluff. Something you do while the “real” marketing happens somewhere else.
The people who do get it are too busy replying to DMs to argue.😉
Because the research has been backing this up for decades. People remember and understand stories better than straight information. Get someone absorbed in a story and their guard drops. Get them to feel like they know you, and you’re the first person they think of when they’re ready to buy.
It works more quietly than a “BOOK NOW” post, and on a longer fuse. Then one day someone books and says “I feel like I already know you.” And once that’s happened to you, you can’t unsee it.
If you’re already doing well, but you know your content could be pulling far more of its weight, The Story Studio is coming.
It’s 1-2-1 support and ideas on tap for big-thinking founders who want to connect (not broadcast).
DM me STUDIO and I’ll put you first on the list for founding rates.💕🤌🏼
