You can be the woman everyone leans on and still need somewhere to lay your own heart down.
You can know the Scriptures and struggle to find words to pray.
You can encourage someone sincerely while carrying questions of your own.
You can love Jesus and need to say, “I’m tired. Please help me.”
Bring him that version of you.
Psalm 62:8 invites us to pour out our hearts before God. There is room in prayer for the feelings you keep editing out of every conversation.
Tell him where you’re disappointed. Ask for wisdom where you’re confused. Let someone trustworthy know where you need support.
God, help us stop hiding behind our ability to cope. Teach us to receive your care with open hands.

I'm the one everybody leans on. the strong one. nobody sees me at 2am laying my own heart down. God does though. He's where i put it 🖤

Psalm 62:8 is such a gift. God doesn't need the polished version of us. Letting someone see I'm struggling is still the hardest one for me.

Check on the woman you always turn to for encouragement. Ask how she is doing, and give her time to answer.

What is one honest sentence you could bring to God today? You can pray it privately. It doesn’t have to sound polished.
