Oh, Life…
Oh, Life, how scared we are of growing old,
Of watching our stories slowly unfold.
Yet age is a gift, not a thing to fear,
A privilege simply to still be here.
For you’re never too old to feel young at heart,
To dream of new endings, to make a new start.
To wander through life with your eyes open wide,
To wonder freely, with nothing to hide.
To find beauty in moments, in skies painted blue,
In the things we once missed, in the things we once knew.
For youth isn’t measured by years passing by,
But by the dreams that still make our souls fly.
Oh, Life… what a gift it is to be,
To keep wondering, growing, to simply be free.
And perhaps growing older is learning to see
That being alive is enough to be free.
